Career direction
We look honestly at where you are and where you want to be, then choose the role or route to aim for: the step you need next, and what it takes to get there.
Mentoring
Mentoring for the decisions that sit around your learning: the career you are aiming at, the course or qualification to plan for, and the application or exam in front of you.
Free 45 minutes, no obligation. We talk through where you are and what you want to reach.
What mentoring covers
We look honestly at where you are and where you want to be, then choose the role or route to aim for: the step you need next, and what it takes to get there.
Courses, qualifications and the timing around them. We work out what to study, where, and whether it fits the life and career you are building.
Applications, personal statements, interviews and exams have their own rules. I have guided applications through UCAS, and we work through them together, so you know exactly what to write, say and prepare.
How I mentor
I have designed and delivered mentor training to strengthen mentors’ ability to build trusting, productive relationships with their mentees. This included developing effective communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills to ensure that mentees receive meaningful guidance, consistent support, and opportunities for personal and professional development.
I have worked with corporates, universities, charities and UCAS to help people from disadvantaged backgrounds make informed decisions about their next steps in life, career or education. I have also trained mentors in how to connect with their mentees. I bring that same clarity to our sessions: no guesswork and no jargon, just a clear view of your options and the confidence to choose the right one.
Mentoring runs alongside your lessons or on its own. We meet one to one on Google Meet, look at what you are working towards, and finish every check-in with practical next steps you can actually take.
For organisations
I train mentors in how to connect with their mentees: how to open a conversation someone actually wants to have, how to listen for what sits behind the answer, and how to finish every session with a next step the mentee will genuinely take.
The training sits alongside my work with corporates, universities, charities and UCAS, so it is shaped around real programmes and the people they support, not theory alone.
Tell me who your mentors support and what you want the training to change, and we will shape it around that.
Client stories
Passed IELTS and became employed in Big Four banking.
Jhamecz quickly identified my weaknesses, gave me a clear structure and provided targeted advice.
I have studied English throughout my entire education and even had some experiences in England, including six months in Oxford. Yet despite all these experiences, I still had not become bilingual - probably a lack of discipline and organisation on my part. That is when Jhamecz stepped in. She quickly identified my weaknesses, gave me a clear structure and provided targeted advice that helped me correct my mistakes and significantly strengthen my English.
She is attentive, cheerful, patient and pedagogical. She helped me gain confidence by adapting her teaching style to my pace and goals, while always taking the time to listen. She created an ultra-clear shared file that centralises all our lessons, so it is impossible to get lost. The books she recommends and the tailor-made exercises truly make a difference. I chose one-to-one lessons, and I have no regrets.
At first I was afraid I would not be able to express myself fully, thinking a French-speaking teacher would suit my level better. In reality it was never an issue - we have always communicated effectively.
